Prince Wassili Alexandrowich Romanov, President of the Romanov Family Association, endorses our Order by his Royal Proclamation dated April 27th, 1982.

Prince Wassili was a son of Grand Duke Alexander Michailovich, last imperial Grand Master of our Order, who moved out Order's headquarters to the United Stated of America in 1916. Grand Duke Alexander Michailovich was also the brother-in-law of Tsar Nicholas II, the last Tsar.

The endorsement of our Order by Prince Vassili signifies the assent of the Russian imperial family to our Order's origin in the Russian Order of Saint John of Jerusalem.

Prince Wassili passed away in 1989.
