The Order’s Headquarters made various donations during the year, including: 

• Donated $1,590,000 (USD) in medicines to the Government of Honduras that were distributed to several hospitals, clinics, and an orphanage. A total of $6 million (USD) in medicines were donated by the Order in 2008 to help the people of Honduras through the First Lady.
• Gave $12,350,000 (USD) in medicines to Missionaries of the Poor, Sisters in Philippines, a non-profit organisation whose programs address the needs of the poor, abused women, abandoned children, drug victims and the forgotten elderly. A total of $13 million (USD) in medicines were donated to this organisation.
